I don't know why I enjoy watching these so much. I have no ramen shops next to me. What is within 1.5 hour drive is expensive (some is very delicious). I can make my own damn good ramen if I have the time. I feel I watch these just to suffer 😡 Also, why you tempting me with that Persona 5 soundtrack?

Oh Yushoken IS really good! If you ask me, I consider them the best because they arguably make the most flavorful ramen out here. However! I've realized they can get so flavorful that it tends to overwhelm your palette after the whole bowl. I suggest you try the Ramen in Mitsukoshi mall BGC (Bonifacio Global City) at the food court and I think it's better in the sense that their ramen has a well balanced flavor that I could eat it every week :)

I got to try their shoyu at Teamlab Planets last year!

we ate there last year when we went to Kyoto for the Noma popup. It was nice (something different) but it was not our favorite, there are so many other shops in Kyoto that are way better, but still worth a visit. Love your videos Frank:)

Ebimaru was closed when I went, but had a note to go to French Noodle Factory by the Shiodome for the same signature bowl. I got the one with whole lobster in it. I thought it was insanely good. Ordered the side of risotto and had it piled high with grated Parmesan cheese. Poured some of that luxurious broth over the top and it was heaven! Now your video has me lying in bed craving that rich and creamy ramen all over again! And to think I almost didn’t come here because I had the Lobster ramen at La Maison Du Ramen and wasn’t impressed with it. There it was a little too bitter and tasted too heavily of just lobster shells.

watched about 5 videos on the topic and yours is by far the best one

Level 5 is not that spicy (I guess, maybe if you are white and can't eat spice). Japanese food in general, compared to other Asian nations, don't eat heavily spicy food. I maxed the spiciness and didn't break a sweat, but I saw other white tourists and Japanese locals blowing their nose and wiping sweat from their forehead.

I was just there a week ago! Their Tsukemen (sp?) was amazing. The noodles were next level. I went back 3 days later and had their Parmesan ramen. It was so delightful!😊

I really like Tsukemen but I didn't like Tomita too much. It was a little too pork funky for me. I prefer the Tsukemen from Fuunji more. Nice episode. Were the bowls really that small or do you and your brother both have really big hands? :)
